The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment has 18.5 cubic feet, which is standard for a French-door fridge at this price. It also has a decent sized ice maker packed into the left door, though it's not the biggest I've seen.
You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to create a customized storage arrangement for whatever you have to store. The GE PYE22PYNFS's interior design is stylish, too. The LED lighting is a nice touch and the inside storage bins feature the third shelf, which can fold down to make it possible to store tall items. The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them for Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are easy to shut and open, but I found the plastic's textured coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.
The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a complete set of features you'd expect from a fridge in this price range that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place around the world. It also has numerous options for customizing. It will also send notifications when the door is unlocked, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.
It is nice it GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill, an option found in a few GE refrigerators that allows users to choose the number of cups they would like to disperse. It does offer a countdown feature on the fridge's display to display how much water you have left, but it's not as effective as Precise Fill.
Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
Created to appear like a seamless piece of your kitchen, Bosch's French-door refrigerator is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors to preserve food items. The ice maker we tested was one of the most efficient and produces the shape of a pyramid using only water. This fridge is perfect for a single household or a kitchenette with an attractive design and top of the highest quality food preservation.
This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never fluctuated more than a tiny fraction - this is crucial to prevent freezing burn. The refrigerator section of the refrigerator also performed well. It reached the initial temperature set within a matter of hours, and maintained the temperature throughout our tests.
Bosch is a household name known for its high-end appliances. Therefore, it's not a surprise that Bosch counter depth refrigerator is one of them. Bosch counter depth refrigerator can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. The app lets you monitor and control the refrigerator remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is pricey, but offers great features and capabilities at a fair price.
It is important to know the limitations of the fridge. It has a small shelf space, so you may have to think creatively when storing tall objects. The shelves are not resistant to spills and are easily damaged or stained by sharp objects. It is easy to take out the refrigerator trays, but be sure to clean them regularly to prevent mold growth.

The LG LRFLC2706S is a top counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage in a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge has an ordinary French-door design with gallon-sized door bins at each door and two rows of shelves that capture spills, and a set of sleeker drawers. The top shelf on the right side can be folded in order to create more space for tall items. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.
The refrigerator comes with an ice maker, making it easy to transfer the frozen ice as needed. The freezer also comes with clever design features, like sliding drawers that help you sort your things. It comes with a large bin for storing frozen food and a separate one for ice.
Smart InstaView panel is another cool feature of the refrigerator. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's an easy way to keep track of your fridge and manage it, especially when you're away from home.
However, while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't necessarily enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact, it took longer to defrost and chill food in this fridge than some of the others we tested. This is likely due to the bigger capacity.
Another issue with the door of this refrigerator. The handles with a sunken design allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However taller people have a difficult time closing them without slamming. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handle.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't cost a fortune, this Frigidaire is a good choice. It's a minimalist design that's not as visually striking as other models, but it has enough features to make it a solid pick. Its main characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer that helps keep food items like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker and a water dispenser.
The "Chill Drawer", which is located over the two crisper bins, is a nice feature. The drawer lets you direct some of your fridge's cooling power into this area, so that you can keep food items which need extra attention. You can adjust this feature using an adjustable slider that is located just outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to set a general cooling level for the entire fridge but I've noticed that adjusting the general settings tends be more effective than specific ones.
During my tests, I discovered that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across various parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a great performance, but doesn't quite make it to the top of our rankings.
This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise readings of your fridge's internal temperature.
The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It is capable of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared with glossy stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
